"As a host and producer, connecting with exceptionally creative artists has been one of the most welcome perks of my radio career! I'm here to tell you that I've experienced it again with the New York based collective Momentum! They offer an exciting blend of music that commands attention."
-
"Momentum have hit the ground running in their ambition to give vocal jazz a kick up its often somewhat traditional derrière. "Screams'" intro teases a smooth listen, then before you know it you're catapulted into the cosmic stratosphere, before being laid gently back down; their first single is absolute fire as well. -
“'Scream' is imbued with an otherworldly beautiful, cinematic style that nonetheless feels subtle and melodic."
-
"Momentum have hit the ground running in their ambition to give vocal jazz a kick up its often somewhat traditional derrière."

"The tube mood in the rays of a muffled light, a sound palette of Neo-Soul and Hip-Hop genres and a light smoke jazz music-all this is a new release -momentum x jswiss-, which will become a revelation for connoisseurs of high-quality and atmospheric sound."
Brooklyn Bound Podcast 2022: Momentum
Now in its ninth year, Brooklyn Bound is a popular series of concerts at Sō’s working studio in the Navy Yard section of Brooklyn. When social distance became a necessity, we decided to create a new version and transition to a fully virtual one. Casual and intimate, the concerts feature us and emerging ensembles from our local scene. This podcast includes a personal dive into each artist of the season!
